Subject: Petition Requesting to Extend Blue Oaks Boulevard Now — Stop Further Delays.
Introduction:
On behalf of the residents of the West Roseville Specific Plan, the WestPark and Fiddyment Farm Neighborhood Associations seek the extension of Blue Oaks Boulevard between its current dead-end at Hayden Parkway straight through to Westbrook Boulevard (approximately 1½ – 2 miles), at least as a two-lane roadway, to commence without further delays. The current lack of direct access between the two sections of WestPark and Fiddyment Farm results in safety personnel to have to take an alternate route up to 5-miles around, producing delayed (double) response times from police and fire services. These delays put lives and property at higher risk daily.
